More than 200 guests gathered under oak hammock on the banks of the Myakka River to celebrate the conservation of Triangle Ranch and enjoy a farm-to-table luncheon benefiting Conservation Foundation. Triangle Ranch owner and philanthropist, Elizabeth Moore, partnered with us to permanently conserve the 1,134-acre Triangle Ranch last year which is home to more than 120 species of birds and three miles of the Myakka River
Conservation Foundation biologist and land steward Lee Amos led a guided walk through Pine Island Preserve at Matlacha Pass. This was a special opportunity to see the different natural habitats critical to wildlife in the area.
