Manatee County Family Donates Land to Foundation
04/09/2010 -
We save land so our children and grandchildren will have the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and see wildlife on the Gulf Coast. People like Lee and Carol Ann Breyer make that possible by choosing to protect their land. The Breyers recently donated a conservation easement and remainder interest in their property to Conservation Foundation of the Gulf Coast. By determining now what will happen to their Manatee River property when they can no longer care for it, Lee and Carol Ann ensured that Mercy on the Manatee will be protected forever.
The Breyers heard about the Foundation through their friend, attorney Adam Tebrugge. (We often meet landowners through attorneys, CPA’s and advisors). Carol Ann visited conservationfoundation.com and saw that we share her values. The relationship blossomed and the board and staff of the Foundation celebrated their generosity at a luncheon at Bay Preserve at Osprey. On behalf of future generations we thank you Lee and Carol Ann.
